The USPLL 2021 Summer College and pre-NCAA recruiting Series/Season will consist of the following:
- 12 day summer season
- Move in: Monday, July 5th (student-athletes can move in after if applicable)
- Move out: Friday, July 16th after Playoffs have concluded.
- Competitive and College recruiting tournament in the hotbed of East Coast Lacrosse.
- College Visits
- Each College Visit and Tour will be run by the Admission offices at each College/University
- Schools we will be visiting may include, but not limited to:
- Assumption College, Curry College, St. Michael’s College, Colby College (NESCAC), Bowdoin College (NESCAC), Endicott College, etc.
- Schools we will be visiting may include, but not limited to:
- Interaction with college coaching staff of the college/university that we are visiting and potential practice/game on their field (if permitted).
- Each College Visit and Tour will be run by the Admission offices at each College/University
- Each Franchise will play and practice on the following days:
- Monday, July 5th
- Morning move-in
- PM practice
- July 6th – AM practice & PM games
- July 7th – AM games & PM games
- July 8th – College Tours & Visits (TBD)
- July 9th – AM practice & PM games
- July 10th – AM games & PM games
- July 11th – AM games & PM games
- July 12th – College Tours & Visits (TBD)
- July 13th – AM practice & PM Beanpot mini round robin to determine playoff seeding (each team plays each other once)
- July 14th – Playoffs (Semi-Final games)
- July 15th – College Tours & Visits (TBD)
- July 16th – Consolation & Championship Games
- Monday, July 5th
- Game Structure:
- Game stats and league leaders will be taken and will be posted on our website.
- Players of the Game will be selected
- Games will be filmed and made available to student-athletes.
- Proactive promotion of student-athletes to college coaches.
- Game film will be sent to college coaches.
- Pre and Post-game interviews with student-athletes will be sent to colleges via the league social media office.
- College Coaching staff will receive fully detailed rosters (for Games and Tournaments) containing student-athletes’s academic, athletic, and contact information.
- This includes high school GPA, test scores, lacrosse accolades, and much more.
- Here is the list of ALL of the colleges/universities that will be receiving links to full game film, League Statistics & Awards, as well as each player’s draft selection & bio
- Game stats and league leaders will be taken and will be posted on our website.
- Playoff Format
- Each team will play each other one time
- Based off of the round robin and the season stats, that will determine the seeding.
- #1 seed plays #4 seed in Semi-Final Game #1
- #2 seed plays #3 seed in Semi-Final Game #2
- CONSOLATION GAME: Loser of Semi-Final Game #1 vs. Loser of Semi-Final Game #2
- CHAMPIONSHIP GAME: Winner of Semi-Final Game #1 vs. Winner of Semi-Final Game #2
